Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and animal rights activist. The actress has won praise by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in a creative environment. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. Her first two movies, she was recognized as a winner of an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international recognition along with the Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. She was named the best female box-office star of the world after only three movies. In 1972, her foot-prints along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and other. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw got married to three different people.
