Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has won Emmy award. She hosts the most popular Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The series premiered in 2002. It is scheduled to air for 27 more seasons. Ina started her career writing nuclear energy policies and budgets of the White House. Though she found the career interesting initially, she eventually was bored and bought a tiny boutique of specialty foods - Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make the shop extremely popular before selling it and grabbing a pen to write her first cookbook. A number of other books and newspaper articles were published. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too made its debut and became popular. Its products include kitchen equipment and cooking materials to storage containers. Ina has never attended a cooking school, nor did she employed in the restaurant industry. Ina is completely self-taught. Her popularity is due to her easy-going way of cooking and entertaining. She is well-known for her easy recipes like Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni and cheese made with beef Bourguignon, and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
