Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is well-known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Later, in 1956, she got her first big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina the following year. Louise made her debut in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda, a character in the movie. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career balancing Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to the glamorous image that she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years, she's also become the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural or The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has been settling down there ever since.
