Hayley orrantia is a native of the United States. She's primarily an actor, however she is also an acrobat and songwriter. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". She believes that she is a musician first and foremost. She maintains that music is her primary passion. It is something she was experimenting at since she was 9 years old. At the age of 12 the world of music had become serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. Following a few attempts at songwriting, she only recorded the album with songs at age 14. Since then she's never looked back. Orrantia, born in America, has Hispanic heritage. Although she spoke only English growing up and had not been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic origins. In order to maintain her heritage, she's learned Spanish and created songs in that language. "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X Factor following the submission of an YouTube audition video. She was awarded four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage audition in Seattle. She initially auditioned in the show "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. However, three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of other tracks. They were eventually eliminated at the end of the fifth show.
